Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter Two and a half years is a long time to wait..... Mama Cat is still waiting folks. Please come on in and meet our beautiful Mama! COOL CAT OF THE DAY~ MAMA CAT This beautiful lady is Mama Cat. Mama came to us in March 2012 when her owner sadly surrendered her, along with his dog, Estes. It seems he had fallen on hard times, and recently lost his home. He could not bear to be without his beloved dog and cat, so they were living with him in his car. When he realized he could no longer care for them and had to move out of state, he tearfully said his goodbyes to them, and we promised that we would take good care of his Mama and Estes. So much time passed by and finally after almost a year, Estes found herself a wonderful home! The lovely people that adopted Estes would have adopted Mama Cat too however, they have other cats and Mama just would not have done too well with then. Mama Cat is still waiting, and is so deserving of a great home too. Mama Cat is about 7 years old and absolutely loves people and is very loving and affectionate. She loves getting attention and just wants a warm lap to snuggle up in. Mama Cat is a bit fussy about other cats though, and tends to be a bit dominant. She is fine with dogs, and may do well in a home with a more laid-back, submissive female cat. This beautiful lady has been waiting so long for that special someone to come along....please make her dreams come true!
