Asthma rates have increased dramatically in the past two decades, and a new study suggests that chemicals in plastics may play a role. The chemicals in plastics can come out of products into household air and dust, where we get exposed. Fortunately were on the case! Silent Spring is currently studying how building materials in homes affect our exposures to these and other chemicals that may affect asthma or disrupt hormones.
