At 10:30 this morning was the Mass for the First Anniversary of Benos passing conducted by Father Kelly and Father Nick, with a fair number of family members and relatives and friends attending. We were reminded that yesterday was the Mass for the All Souls Day and this Mass is being held in particular to pray for Beno, our brother and son and father and grandfather to many and husband to our dear Regoria. We were told that it is for two things that we pray this morning. 1) is to thank God for our lives and that of Beno and 2) to pray and ask God to addmit Beno into His presence. As we pray for Beno we were reminded that our time will be here one day and the important duty is to be ready for that day when it come, which only He knows. After the Mass we gathered in St. Paul and share bread and water, while we sang songs remembering Beno and remembering our own mortality. Beno, we pray that you help prpare the rooms for us when we join you. His daughters had tears in their eyes and I told them, Please do not cry because your father is smiling and wants you to smile, today and every day.
