At 11:30pm Last night while driving home we noticed a lady walking down I35 heading North on the south bound shoulder carrying a gas can. As I flew by I noticed her car was parked in the on ramp. I then decided to take the next exit and double back to see if we could be of assistance. By the time we caught up with her someone had already met up and took her gas can. We then drove her back to her car. Before we left her by her car a DPS showed up and made us feel a lot better. One thing stuck out in my mind was she didnt think anyone would stop because she was black. What me and Dana saw was just a lady in need of help not the color of her skin.
