At #11 on our countdown of the nation’s hottest song’s of the week, here’s the first single from the hot CD called, Hotel Cabana. The artist who owns that album is British musician, Naughty Boy. Since Naughty Boy is a British artist, the majority of artists featured on his latest album are also British. Why did this artist only feature mainly British musicians on his latest album you may be asking yourself? Naughty Boy say’s that a major part of the reason why several of the guest artist’s on his album are British is that as a British producer, it was important to showcase British talent. When discussing his latest album, Naughty Boy said: “ I wanted to make sure it felt like a British album. I’m a British producer but sometimes it would have been easier to get international artists involved. However, I just thought I want to represent all that’s exciting in the UK right now. I would say it’s the most exciting it’s ever been , from singers to producers to song’s. I want to be part of that wave! Wiz Khalifa was the only international act. It’s nice to have one but even then I put him on with Ella Eyre, who is a new and exciting British singer.
