At 430 this morning I was comparing the stormy weather to the storms in our lives ( laying awake pondering is what I do best ,when I feel weighed down lol ). I was thinking about the different types of storms we have ,just a rain shower like I see out the window at the moment, hail storms, thunderstorms and sometimes tornados !If you are driving through a storm and you have a line of traffic behind you, pulling over is more dangerous than just keeping a steady pace and trying to get to the end of the storm, because trying to get over could result in the car behind you not seeing you and running into you causing a pileup! So therefore you have to grip the wheel and keep going ! We all have our different storms we go through, sometimes with those around us unaware that we are in the storm. There are those who have a physical sickness that they need healing for, those who fight a mental battle , those who are depressed and no one ever knows it and there is financial storms ! If you have ever driven in a storm and are like me ,there is a great relief when you finally seen a break in the clouds or a hint of sunshine. Then your body tends to relax and you know it will be ok ! Nahum 1-7 tells us that the Lord is our stronghold !! So thankful that when Im thinking about pulling over ,knowing I can not that I do have a stronghold. Sometimes we have to just grip the wheel and keep praying and hold on till the end of the storm ! Praying for the Light to shine through in so many situations !! Hope every one has a great weekend !
