At 70, Carol Byron lives alone in a small apartment behind the Gold Coast. Her address is known only to a handful of close friends who dont talk about her to outsiders, her phone is unlisted, and she spends her spare time cooking and reading books about royal lineages. To all appearances its as though Byrons real past never existed, and that somehow she has always been this pleasant but unremarkable woman at ease amid the trappings of a conventional, home-loving existence.
