At Christ Episcopal Church, in LaCrosse, WI, they have an Easter Vigil, where someone needs to be awake and mindful in the Chapel from Good Friday until dawn Easter. My dad and I often took up a few chunks of time to keep the string of wakefullnes going off/on over the years. When Im well (not using,) I typically have a hard time sleeping on Easter Saturday night. I have to go to work in about 90 minutes or so. Im rocking the Jesus Christ Superstar to keep me up the last few steps until bus time. Not like in 2011 when Steve Broome Steve Broome handed me a mug of coffee at a Dreamcoat Coffee gig that Easter Saturday ...... it was six shots of espresso..... I was up until TUESDAY!!! Im missing some people, and Im praying for others who are in serious situations. I really hope my friend Adam gets out of this jam hes in medically. We have yet to jam on our guitars together. Im fiercely proud of my friend who put together this amazing benefit production for her niece--never having put together a thing like this before. I love my job. I love the people we serve. I am in two very good bands up here in Minneapolis and the members are now some of my best mates. I live in a kooky house in the hood with a couple freakshows who get me fully. I work with some of the greatest human beans I know. Donald Trump can stick his millions. The actual and real friends I have make me way more rich than a person like that. And yeah, if youve read this far, Im talkin about you, ya shmuck.
