At Colombo International Airport waiting to board our 1am flight to Bangkok. From there, taking the bus to Angkor Wat, Cambodia! Sri Lanka is an amazing country. The island and the people are beautiful. We felt very safe and were treated very kindly by everyone. When we arrived at the bus station, men flocked to us asking us where we needed to go and then they all walked us to where we needed to be. I was approached by a sweet old man who was trying to sell me an ear pick with a built in flashlight. He was even kind enough to demo for me, lol. I thanked him but told him I was going to have to pass. Once our bus arrived, several men grabbed our bags and put them on the bus for us and then gave us front row seats in the bus! The bus driver even wanted to shake our hands when we left. Really nice people. :)
