At Project Capoeira, a non-profit organization,we are proud to organize the first Brazilian Day Philadelphia. You, your family and friends are invited to a fun-filled day on Sunday, Sept 21, 2014 from 1-7PM at Penns Landing.The mission of Brazilian Day Philadelphia is to celebrate the wonderful culture and traditions of Brazil and to share with the public the ethnic heritage that makes Brazil unique and rich in cultural pride. Its free to the public! Although this project represents our largest and most costly undertaking, we believe in the importance of building community and enriching lives through the arts. As a small, non-profit organization, Project Capoeira needs your help to raise the funds needed to produce this festival as it is free to the public. As the Executive Director of the non-profit , Id like to personally ask you to make a monetary donation for this cause. All donations will go towards the planning and execution of the festival.
