At a crowded reception on this snowy morning, our former Chair, Bonnie Watson Coleman, was ceremonially sworn in, becoming the first African American woman to represent New Jersey in Congress and the first woman to be a part of our delegation in over a decade. A common sense problem solver as a member of the New Jersey Legislature, Bonnie is a mother of three who has spent her career fighting for civil rights for all, womens equality, and economic fairness for New Jerseys workers and seniors. We are so proud of her!
