At about 8:20 PM of September 14, 2014, three (3) teams of this unit led by the PSUPT REMUS BALINGASA MEDINA, Acting Battalion Commander of 2RPSB jumped-off from this headquarters on board one (1) 6x6 truck and one (1) Light trooper with one (1) rubber boat, one (1) drum boat with twenty four (24) life vest bound to Tugegarao City Hall and arrived there at around 8:25 PM of same date. After being appraised of the situation by the City Mayor, the Acting Battalion Commander briefed the responding teams and divided them into two (2) teams and were immediately dispatched to Brgy, Carig Sur and Brgy. Leonarda both of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. At about 8:35 PM of same date the rescue teams arrived in their respective areas. Responding team under PSI ROCKY Z BALISI evacuated a total of eight (8) residents from Brgy. Carig Sur. While team led by PINSP RICSON I CABAUATAN was able to evacuate nine (9) residents from Brgy. Leonarda, both of Tuguegarao City after being stranded from their homes due to flash floods. 5. At about 11:30 PM of same date the rescue teams returned to Tuguegarao City Hall, another briefing was held for the clearing of the uprooted trees blocking the roads. Personnel from this unit were dispatched to CSU Carig, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan for the clearing operation
