At church today, I shared something with a virtual stranger that you would have had to beat out of me three years ago. My past is littered with sins perpetrated against me and those perpetrated by me. People Ive had to forgive which includes myself which is harder. I can talk about it without reliving it because I dont live there anymore. God raised Jesus from the dead. He specializes is breathing life into dead things. Into nothingness, He spoke the universe into being. Into man made of dirt, He breathed life and made a living soul. He raised Lazarus and Jesus. He redeemed our dead souls bound for hell by the blood of His Son. He can mend your broken heart. He can give you peace. He can give you hope and a future. If you lack anything, He is able to provide. I have more family than I can shake a stick at. A roof over my head. Children and 1 1/2 grandchild. A daughter-in-law and son-in-law. Sisters and a brother. A great relationship with my Mom. Peace with my relationship with my Dad. There were times when I thought I would rather die than endure the pain, but He has turned my sorrow into dancing. He has given me beauty for ashes. All of the promised of His word ARE for ME. Not someone else. Not sometime in the future. Right now is the day of your salvation. Right now the Lord knocks at the door to your heart. Right now you can begin to know this God who knows you better than you know yourself. Seek Him. I know Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. What Way..the only Way. What Truth..all Truth. What Life...Eternal Life. Thank you Jesus. Be blessed.
