At exactly 6 p.m. today, while I was busy on my computer in my non-functioning D.S.T.V. center, I was suddenly distracted by a thunderous shout of go go Ebola . It was coming from the inhabitants of the Kimbadu Resettlement in the Tankoro Chiefdom in Kono. When I ventured out I saw scores of men women and children dancing on the streets and shouting that they have chased ebola from Sierra Leone. I nearly shed tears and silently strolled back in and sat on my computer. I pitied the people because I really heard in their thunderous cry their yerning for survival and good health. So my appeal to those in authority and position of affluence is for them to pay more attention to the health sector because our people cherish good health and they believe like myself that it is the most important thing the society requires for sustainable growth and development.
