At last!!! :-) Lots of memories come to my mind of these 4 years in UCD. Maria Schez encouraging me to take this opportunity and helping me with all the applications and english formatting for the CV, so there I am in Dublin (a place that I promised myself to never come back due to the shitty weather!!) Once in UCD meet people from the beginning that without knowing it will be part of my live for all these years and consider like family now (Clo and Iza). Also in UCD met other people that unfortunately were leaving (Teresa to Belfast, Irene back to italy to write the thesis, Vasilis to a teaching position in Malta, Alejandro to Germany, Niamh to Reading...), but also other people stayed and we happily shared lots of dinners, nights-out and weekends away (especially in Carlingford!, haha) - Thelma, Jessica, Graham, Flo, Louise, Elaine, Mark Hynes, but also Rosie, Ame and Ciaran, that probably heard most stories re UCD than the rest of us together :D My 1st colleagues at work were the lovely Francesco (not in FB), my 4th year slave Kim, and shortly Rachel join us, wouldnt be able to finish this whole thing without her, thats for sure! Remembering now the night outs drinking or to the monologue comedies with Marija (and for sure our trip to Macedonia! xx), or dinners with Iza, Claire, Dawid and Maeve), our lunch breaks in UCD with Clo, Arianna, Marina, Yang, Serena (and her healthy carrots/celery diet!). Visiting students such as Katell, Océane, Bernadette (GL in Oz!!), Alexandra, Antonio, Rocío (ole que sevillanas nos marcábamos eh?) or Daniele. Working late in the lab (and weekends with Iza, Clo, Caroline, Aggeliki, Carmel...), also our trip to Vegas with Rach and Joshua.
