At least a foot of new fluffy snow in my yard this morning. So I shoveled my porch, shoveled (not brushed) off my car, shoveled around my car......I knew if I had a clear start, my car - with all wheel drive - could get through. I got into my car, which had been running the whole time and was now warm and toasty, put it into gear, and proceeded to back straight into a snowbank. I shoveled some more, attempted to rock it, shoveled some more, and finally resorted to waking Carl up. With a little more shovelling, some salt, and him pushing I was eventually able to get free from the snowbank and make it to work. My hero.
