At nursing home, I walked down the hallway to my client’s room, Me: Knock knock..B! Are you ready to go get your hair done? B: What’s going on today? Do you know? B said while she was trying to push herself up from the bed. Me: I’m not sure, but I only know that you have to be pretty. B: Ok, give me 2 minutes. I stood right there and waited for her to get up on the wheelchair. She looked up to the TV when she heard opera. B: Who’s playing? Me: I don’t know, do you like opera? B: No, I like jazz. Me: Oh nice, so can you sing? B: Not really, let’s say, nobody wanna hear it. Me: It’s ok, can you get up? So we can go.. She pumped herself 3 times for getting up. 1 2 3..I imagine about a big heavy sack(my bad), she couldn’t get up, but she tried again. She stood up straight this time. B: I don’t know if I can turn around… Me: It’s ok, take your time, take it easy…yup.. you got it!! I started to roll her out. B: Where’re we going? Me: To the salon. B: What’s going on today? Do you know? Me: I don’t know, but you have to be pretty. She started to sing!! ****with all the respect to my lovely client****
