At one of the screenings I attended recently someone said to me that I should show my film for free everywhere... It would help so many people. I asked them what they did for a living and they were a Bookkeeper and I said well do you do your services for free? We have really confused this whole concept of value. We think we should pay for stuff and knowledge and wisdom should be free... Except how do the people working to share that knowledge and wisdom eat? How about we spend less money on stuff and more on art and films and music and books.. Just a thought.
