At our ages - my Bulldog classmates and others, we are all experiencing the dreaded health challenges of our parents and the losses of them as well. Now its Birney ODell & Christine ODell-Wills and their sisters turn as their father, who I affectionately refer to as Papparoo, is in the hospital with a very serious health challenge of his own. I so wish I had that magic wand to heal, restore and protect our loved ones from enduring serious health conditions and the hardships it also puts on family/friends in coping with it. We never want to see our parents hurt, be sick, or anything other just as they never wanted to see it happen to us when we were kids. We want to protect them like they protected us. And at this stage in our lives, we now worry about them like they worried about us all those years. Papparoo (Pat) is in need of prayers as he endures this serious challenge in his life and for his family who needs comfort at this emotional time. I love Pappaproo too and my heart is with him, and all his family especially now.
