At the April 1st meeting of the Glenview Village Board, President James Patterson and the Village Trustees issued a formal Proclamation in honor of National Library Week, April 13th – 19th. Accepting the Proclamation from President Patterson is Vickie Novak, Library Director. Lives Change @ Your Library is the theme for 2014, as libraries nationwide celebrate the powerful impact of libraries and librarians on the lives of Americans. In its efforts to “educate, enrich, inspire and entertain,” the mission of the Glenview Library is manifested in the myriad of collections, programs and services which are offered each day to Glenview residents. We invite you to visit the Library during National Library Week to experience first-hand the many wonderful amenities offered by your local public Library.
