At the GPS Equator theyve created a most informative village style exhibit featuring, among other things, the history of the Wuaorani people. Apparently a relatively small population of these people still live, in much the way they have for centuries, deep in the Amazon forests. According to what we were told, in these peoples past they were head shrinkers (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shrunken_head). (in photo 3 thats a shrunken human on the right). Although there are similarities, there is some contradiction between this wikipedia version and what we learned here, so take that into consideration. Oh, for those of you that know Kisch you know that until now she has had a distinct dislike/fear of snakes. But as you can see here, she and they have now bonded! Its been a long time coming but Ive always known that, in the right circumstances at the right time, this might be possible.
