At the age of 32, the last thing David expected was to be diagnosed with Polymyositis. Prior to this diagnosis David had been playing football twice a week, worked as a doorman while also being a dad. After further tests in Newcastle he was diagnosed as having an unspecified form of muscular dystrophy in May of 2010 and has been wheelchair dependent for the last 2 years. David is getting behind this years Move A Mile For Muscles and looking to Make A Wheel Difference on Saturday 23rd August in his wheelchair around Rouken Glen Park & Pond in East Renfrewshire.
