At the end of the film 3 idiots we see a chakki being run on a scooter engine, we even see/hear about many life size experiments which are being made from simple material or a part of a gadget is used to form a new gadget. Such experiments we see in final year projects of mechanical, automobile, electronics engineering students or medical students. So many new innovations are found by our students round the corner in our entire country, but the idea that transformed in an innovation & later into a product is just named as a final year project. Bad idea. There should be a parallel system developed to recognize such innovations, observe them & make them more compatible, develop changes in it according to market requirement, brand it, market it, advertise it & make that product reach people who will be the ultimate customers , later take suggestions from the customers & adapt your product accordingly to which we call as value co-creation. Such a system should be very active & give recognitions to such innovations that should help the product gain patent. Such a system is surely developed in west & more certainly in the USA & that is why they keep on filing new patents & we keep on cribbing :(
