Seeing kids playing outside is beautiful. It triggers a rewind to all those memories when one was a kid, back when life wasnt this complicated. Always see them in my hood skating but it doesnt entice me as much as seeing Kasi kids playing, we werent that privileged to have those so I was delightfully inspired & taken aback when I bypassed some Block 6 SHAA street, seeing kids doing their thing by echoing Ga e khibidu ga e khibidu ya ga Mmaagwe Bobolo as they held hands making a large circle. Being a Tswana kid is just a blessing! Thupa thupa yaa sha, Skonti ball, Dila, Suna Babe, Molao wa re..., Se se mo pateng and those...remember doing wired cars with Teezel Arsenal Khwae & Roy Riley Thebeyame at J-Town, then continued with Fo Fo Jaykayz Foshizzy at Block 9, not to mention waiting for rush hours to arrive so that when those long trucks pass by in our hood we do Staff, I remember back in Mochudi in my pre-school days when we did that legendary Mantlwane item, Damn I loved playing the Daddy role. This can only make me thank the Lord for those memories...
