At the last supper, Jesus stood up from the table in his nice garmet and went and changed into his old rags, and came back with water and rag, to wash the disciples feet. They all looked at Him as if that was beneath him. Translate that into modern day life; that would be like you are at a banquet at the White House and President Obama stands up from the dinner table in his tuxedo and then goes into the back room and comes out in some old raggedy shorts and t-shirt, with a bucket of soap and water and wants to wash your feet. You will feel awkward right? You may even feel like u should be washing his feet instead, like the disciples felt. However, what Jesus was teaching them is that no matter what your title or position is, NONE OF US IS TOO BIG TO SERVE, PEOPLE. -davyne
