I sit at the threshld and look out at my fellow beings, and it pains me to see you all so isolated. It is our beliefs that seperate us. Why kill over something you cannot possibly know? Why destroy each other, both within and without, for things that are so drasticaly less important than life, than peace, than joy? I suffer for the sufferings you each cause each other. Can you not see that these ideas that so enslave you are far less valuable than the people you use them against? We will not destroy ourselves in search of progress as many believe, but in denial of the progress that is within. Can you not see that it does not matter what you believe, only that your belief brings you closer to the Divine? If there is a Divine, then by all accounts, the Divine is ONE!!! Do you then think that any Divine, by any name, would wish for belief to be what seperates us? The Divine would inevitably desire peace and harmony amongst that which It has created. And if there is no Divine, then there is only us. What more reason could there be to let go of seperatist beliefs and actions than the realization that no Divine aide will come, and we have only our fellow man to look to for being lifted to the stars in consciousness? A house divided upon itself cannot stand, and we as a species will crumble if we do not get it right soon. Many will argue that we have been killing each other over belief for thousands of years, and while yes, this is true, never before have we been so enabled to kill so many with so little effort. A change MUST come, or we will suffer the greatest of sufferings.
