At the recent groundbreaking ceremony that kick-off Project B - TopicsExpress

At the recent groundbreaking ceremony that kick-off Project B Block, the Minister of Education the Hon. Rev. Ronald Thwaites commended the efforts of the Principal and staff at Kingston Technical High School to reduce the high energy cost at the institution by installing solar panels, which now powers electricity for two E-Learning Labs. He further acknowledge the role of Friends of KTHS in facilitating the support of the Connell family who donated funds to expand the project to a whopping 3kilowatts. We certainly appreciated the Ministers update on education in Jamaica and the challenge to our alumni to support the redevelopment of the infrastructure of our school, to benefit future generations of students. Friends of KTHS stands ready to do our part and envision the day when the rooftop of the entire campus is covered with solar panels supplying all the electricity needs. Make a pledge or make good on your existing pledge so that we can make this, present projects, and all future projects a reality. friendsofkths/?p=2259#membership friendsofkths/?page_id=1648 youtu.be/UDdr896KUYQ
