At the recommendation of a group member, I just watched this documentary... Will Work For Free, which sort of became a long advertisement for the Zeitgeist Movement and Venus Project at the very end... Overall its moderately solid. If youre interested in the many ways that robots and technology will be taking our jobs in the near future, its a must-watch. My biggest criticisms of it are: 1.) It never mentions the possibility of the present socio-economic tyranny being transferred into the post-work system... or ways to avoid this by transferring power from the center to localities. 2.) It almost has a post-scarcity utopia feel to it, as if technology will make everything better. It only briefly mentions the incredible uplift in human consciousness that will be required to make technology serve humans and work with the environment... youtu.be/0SuGRgdJA_c
