[At the risk of deemphasizing other recent posts, I have reedited and repackaged this prior post, which originally was to have been an interim statement of goals for the new Facebook account. Since there a handful of new Facebook friends out there, I thought it relevant to bring it to their attention now that they are here also.] A present direction for Kelly on Facebook: I spent a lot of time here before in my previous incarnation, i.e., the account Kelly Earthrise that Im dropping. Arguably the passion you saw me put into it improved certain writing skills that one could build a writing-based career on (for example, travel writing, but also scriptwriting for my own low-level documentary filming, joke-writing--if I ever get SERIOUS with it, and a number of other possibilities, not that I love it that much). Most of the people who come up in my searches of friends are people I know at work. I am not only eager but feel a need to move on from my current employer, although perhaps I ought to work an additional four years now or some other time with the Federal Government in order to be vetted for some kind of retirement with Uncle Sam. Honestly speaking Im not trying to link too much with people from my job. There are a handful of exceptions, and they (might) know who they are. However, as one initial direction, you might notice me sharing basic stuff on meditation that very few know little about, and probably the same very few will try to find out more. I want to contrast that by saying Im also into clever stuff and open-minded intellectual things, but Ill warn you that, though Im not into embarrassing folks outright by crude or inappropriate humor, chances are I will find it ok to spring an occasional surprise on you. Blessing in your lives and in where you place your attention! P.S., I personally dont get that caught up any more by the news that comes across the airwaves, and if you want to have a tad more peace of mind, in like manner you may wish to consider that there are better things--even things considerably more real--to construct ones world around.
