At the risk of freaking out my mom, its time to crowdsource this... Anyone with an idea on why I would have a sudden onset (started yesterday) of searing pain from elbow (feels like it starts where you hit your funny bone) to the palm of my hand, especially at the base of the thumb. The pain is identical in both arms/hands. The best way I can describe the pain in my hand is that it feels like I have plantar fasciitis in my hands. My fingers are very stiff, and there is pain when I open and close my fists. Other symptoms include numbness and tingling. I have been doing forearm and shoulder stretches every 3 hours all day, and nothing has loosened up. And just to nip this in the bud, the reason I havent seen a doctor yet is because I wanted to wait it out to see if it got better on its own (it hasnt), and because hell probably prescribe pain medication and tell me to wait it out anyway. Any help/advice/direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
