At the risk of sounding like a grumpy old bastard, last night I watched the Coen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis I have always loved their movies however, this one virtual defined everything I dislike about folk music. It started out and rambled on in a dark self-indulgent funk and ended up pretty much where it started, just like folk music and is the very definition of the word revolution going round in a circle and ending up in the same place.
