At the risk sounding like one of those people that puts it all out there, Ima put it all out there. Its not an anniversary of any kind nor is it his birthday, but Id like to pour a few unsolicited compliments out into the world about the man that I share my life with...that chose to share his with me. He is the most genuine person Ive ever met. Hands down. He means what he says without the slightest waiver in follow through. And is completely devoid of malicious intent or gossip. Humbly, I admit that he towers over me with certain admirable qualities. He has something that I have a hard time putting into words, mostly because it is a characteristic in integrity that I am currently striving to understand, let alone apply, but here goes. There are probably a number of things that I do or say on a daily basis that, either being one of my undesirable habits, an engraved personality trait, or simply something that he has grown absolutely tired of over the course of our 12 year relationship, that annoy the shit outta him about me. And not a single flinch of a face muscle. Not a note of criticism. If he is truly bothered by something I do hell let me know, but then quite literally morph into a new partner as he leaves the floor open to my feelings, and then revisits his idea about me. There is only one word I can find that might scratch the surface of this inspiring mans character....integrity. I am so grateful to have a partner like that. To grow with and to watch him grow, and to see the look in his eyes as he sees me grow. ♡ Thanks Hubs.
