At the start of the year I was offered a really amazing opportunity. One of those inbox surprises. I was asked if i wanted to participate in a global music collaboration. Better yet, the producers were arriving by boat. They were sailing the world and creating layered music compositions with different artists. So I sat at Kalk Bay Harbour, headphones on and jammed to a song that had travelled from India. It was a women singing to some simply strum chords. I picked a refrain over it trying to add more colour to the arrangement and bring the vocal melody out. Then I had coffee with the 2 bearded Germans and went home. 4 months later I get sent this track. This truly is the marvel of the 21st century. For all the pitfalls of technology and how it separates us in so many way, it also bring us closer. I am in awe... vimeo/71632536
