At times we pray that God gives us peace, and yet we refuse to live in peace with those around us. We pray that God bless us; and yet we refuse to be a blessing to others. We also pray that God would give us love and yet we only intend to be recipients of love; and not give out any of our own. In short we ask for things that we cannot keep up, once they have been given to us. With every gift we receive, comes the responsibility to sustain it. For instance; if we ask God to us children; once the child is here; we are responsible for maintaining them. Mike Kokwana.
