At tonight’s West Jordan City Council meeting, the city will be receiving funding from various agencies for the proposed “Big Bend” habitat area along the Jordan River. The city will also receive $25,000 from the Utah Jazz for the development of two new “Jazz” basketball courts at the Ron Wood Regional Park and to restripe the existing court at Veterans Memorial Park. Thanks to the Utah Department of Natural Resource’s Division of Wildlife Resources, the Utah Department of Water Quality, National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, Utah Department of Agriculture, and the Utah Jazz for helping to bring these projects to life. wjordan/Government.aspx?pgID=2.4.1
