Atheist: So how do you know Islam is right? Me: Because even if I die, and find out there is no heaven, or no God, I could still look back on my life and be happy with the way this religion taught me to live. Answers like this need to be avoided because they can have a detrimental impact on ones tawheed, and create doubts about the existence of God. As muslims, we cannot cast any doubt whatsoever, whether God exists or not, because it is clear. I know there is a God because of the existence of the smallest of sub-atomic particles to the largest clusters of galaxies in the Universe. The existence of Time and Space, from the beginning of the universe to where we are today. How can any rational human being think that everything in this magnificent universe came from absolutely nothing? Science cannot disprove God, and God’s existence and how He works is far beyond Human Comprehension. I know Islam is right, because, aside from all the guidance and proof it gives to mankind. One verse stands out. Do not the unbelievers see that the skies (space) and the earth (matter) were joined together (as one unit of creation) and we ripped them apart? [Surat Al-‘Anbyā’, Verse 30] (i.e The creation of the universe) This! The original answer was unsettling, and was illogical.
