Athena’s body with school leader’s face You may have seen different versions of #Athena statues, but how about one with a face you recognize from school? Modern College of Northwest University in Xi’an, #China’s Shaanxi Province, has become a hot topic in the Chinese online community recently, due to two special statues on its campus. One of its statues, named Athena, is designed to display the face of one of the female directors of the university. The other statue is of Nv Wa, a goddess in Chinese fairy tales who is believed to be the creator of the nature. Her stone statue carries the face of another female director in the school.
