youtube/watch?v=76RrdwElnTU I can remember my very first memory of watching Television. The year is unclear but it was either 1963 or 1964. We lived in Winthrop on Shore drive. The TV was in the living room and I watched it from a sofa (I think). In those days on Sundays there was all day religious programming. I think it was mainly aimed at Catholics. Those were the first videos I ever saw. They would play Handels messiah and their would be stills of beautiful scenes from the New Testament depicted in stained glass windows. I remember that even though I was three or four, I knew this music was holy and that Handel was mearly a conduit of the divine who had inspired him to create his work. I was enchanted by the sound and I can remember I could not stop thinking about it. It went through my head constantly until it got to the point where I began to have audio hallucinations and actually began hearing it. I saw this phenomena depicted in the Twilight Zone once. A man would describe how if he had looked at a painting of a ship tossing and turning at sea long enough the painting would begin to move.
