Atiku Abubakar has always being a major beneficiary of corruption - TopicsExpress

Atiku Abubakar has always being a major beneficiary of corruption in Nigeria, right from Obasanjos tenure and even up to this present Goodluck Jonathans tenure. I have always believed that his decision to contest for the Presidency was nothing other than to protect his businesses, especially those ones in the Niger Delta. I saw him with a distractionist agenda even though he seemed to be the only aspirant with a detailed manifesto and plan for a better Nigeria. He could as well just handover those great plans to Buhari as his first contribution to change! However, Atikus kind of corruption has being more pragmatically felt by Nigerians than any other corrupt politician in Nigeria. As as today, Atiku remains one of the biggest employer of labour, beating even Dangote in job creation. His company Intels is one of the richest companies in Nigeria today enjoying numerous concessions from the federal government. Intels is still very much richer than some states put together. Atiku is that rich! Sometime last year, Atiku said, Goodluck Jonathan is the only Nigerian President that has made no attempt to attack any of my businesses using the state instrument. OBJ attacked him, Yaradua attacked him, GEJ did not. I still wonder why he had to attack the only man that did not attack him? However, in other to clear my doubt about Atikus whole intention in the race, I am hoping that he will continue to support the change he has preached about by sincerely supporting and funding the Buharis campaign like he would have done to himself if he had won the election. He should also share his years of contemporary political experiences with Buhari and his party if he truly wants change. 2015 election is going to be the bomb. The Billions of Naira budgeted for INEC will not be a waste. Like I have always prayed for, I do not want a free ride election, I want to see a very tough election in which the leaders that will emerge from the process will sincerely know that, for the first time ever, they were truly keenly elected by the electorates. For the first time, they need to have their loyalty and allegiance to the electorates, and not the godfathers. Nigerians will decide between Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari. Let the campaign begin and let the sponsors of the campaign begin to roll out the cash. #NigeriansWillDecide Can Nigeria Bake Her Own Bread?
