Atiku gives reasons for emergence of New PDP, But Reasons Are Un-accepted By Me. Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Friday explained that he, as well as other leaders of the ‘New PDP’ were not just interested in power but want to reconnect the party with Nigerians in line with the aspirations of the founding fathers of the party. A founding members of the ruling PDP, Atiku told The Guardian in an interview that “the PDP has been going in the wrong direction for far too long” and given what was happening in the other political parties (the quest by their leaders to strengthen them), “you would agree with me that it has become necessary for some of us to rescue the party and put it back to track. And that is exactly what has happened.” He frowned at what he described as the “poor manners” the party was being run, noting that the most important challenge to all concerned members was how to engender an orderly process of running the party. “Doing this would require that we put the structures of the party in their proper positions, so that at the end of the day, all members of the party can set the template for an action plan. “Essentially, what we are saying is that we want to correct the situation where only one man sits to direct the party and he alone puts members in line,”he explaine He added, “We have exhausted all efforts to avoid the current division and factionalisation. The PDP is stronger as a united party, but the party leadership doesn’t give a hoot about destroying the democratic principles on which it is founded, to satisfy the ego of the President. If I am To Comment on This Statements, Firstly, I will conlcude that the Atiku Faction are only But Focused On The pulling down of the president For the Northern Interest. As I believe that PDP has not been ruled by Authoritarianism, and as Such Bamanga Tukur Has always Respected the Laws of the PDP as a Party. I say so Because Atiku on his accussation Has failed to Vividly Outline the acts of Impunity of Bamanga as accused. Secondly, even if Bamanga Tukur is actually ruling the party with an act of Impunity, it dose not give them(The Faction) the Audacity to form a parralel faction. Infact Forming a faction is an Act of INPUNITY itself and a Gross Negligence of Rule of Law.. All the same, Things of this nature is expected in a great party as the PDP, But yet, It bleeds my heart to see Governor Rotimi Ameachi collaborating With these Vissionless Northerners To cause this mayhem..But come to think of it...Are the Rivers people and the Southerners as a whole so blind to see and call A Spade a Spade on this Ameachi Saga? I wonder why Amaechi should be the only one in this Faction from the south South, South West?? I Pray It dosent Turn To Alameghesaiya, Ibori or Siver. I rest My Case.
