Atlanta botanical garden Step into imaginary worlds：Plants Larger Than Life and discover a magical garden where cobras tower overhead，fish dance on water，and a giant goddess emerges from the earth. More than one hundred thousand plants come together to from 19 extraordinary living sculptures in the first major exhibition of its kind to be shown in the United States. The exhibition is a creative partnership between the Atlanta Botanical Garden and International Mosaiculture of Montreal ，a nonprofit organization that has staged wildly successful show s around the word showcasing the centuries-old horticultural art of Mosaiculture . Each piece is living sculpture.The from are an evolution of the “stuffed topiary” technique，yet not topiary at all. Their steel armatures are covered with a special fabric containing planting pockets is meticulously groomed as it grows to maintain appearance . Imaginary Worlds feature monumental cobras，a grazing unicorn ，flighty butter-flies，a shaggy dog，and more -including a 25-foot-tall Earth Goddess replenshing the waterfalls of the cascades garden from the hillside above.
