Atlanta road update - midtown/morningside/airport run on 75/85. Piedmont from midtown out to buckhead - fine North Decatur from Piedmont/Monroe to Emory ok save some patches of ice as you go up the hill by the apartments before you get to Briarcliff - still need some gas/momentum. Briarcliff from North Decatur down to Ponce. Fine Ponce going into town fine. Freedom Parkway to 85/75 fine 85/75 southbound to airport fine - and clear - about 30 cars still on side awaiting the drivers who abandoned them, 2 tractor trailers but all on the far right side. Little ice southbound to airport as sun hit it yesterday and already today. Some slickness on bridges where highway goes over local roads - as cool air underneath. Airport northbound - 85 North still some patches of ice along the white lane dividers with no tire wear, and the sun is coming up over tree line/highway guard & sound walls from southeast (rear right shoulder as you drive north), but totally manageable barring a lane changing jerk. Should be gone in 3 hours as sun hits. 75/85 northbound once they merge into midtown - also fine - a few patches on overpasses and under passes but only on the lane dividers 10th street off of 75/85 fine - peachtree north (and piedmont) fine.
