Attached is the latest post for Chris. Please keep in prayer. Thanks! Angela Biddle 15 mins · Yesterday was one week in the nursing home... Last week chris struggled to stand up even one time - yesterday chris walked with a walker across the therapy room and stood up several times (two times he did it for a whole minute). At first he needed so much help that it took a lift to transfer him - now I can transfer him on my own, and he does most of the work. Even though at times this process seems extremely slow, it is still very encouraging to know that we are moving forward. Our goal is still 3 hours of therapy a day, and with his injury he feels so exhausted that he struggles to make it through two half hour sessions (he fights the girl the therapists more, with the constant complaint of how tired he is). Last night i thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with my husband watching the amazing race, eating cheeseburgers and hearing him tell me how wonderful I am. He was so enthralled by everything last night, he is blessed by family and friends that have been here for him in every way. And I am blessed to thank you on his behalf. Please pray we can build up to 3 hours and that he will be able to do some normal body functions on his own today.
