Attention Applicants for the Spring Break Cost Rica Study Abroad Trip!! [you should have received this in an email, but here it is in case you didnt] Thank you for applying for the Sustainability in Business trip to Costa Rica. We have had a very strong interest in this trip and now have more applicants than spaces. For those of you still interested in participating we are coming up on a very important deadline to secure air travel tickets for the March trip. The final steps of the application process spelled out in this email need to happen very quickly. Please read this email carefully and act quickly as needed… As you already know, there are a few forms that couldn’t be completed on-line. These need to be turned in to us directly. You can do so in person (1055 BIF) or by scan-and-email-attachment. These forms include… Personal Health Assessment Signature Verification Passport photocopy Financial Authorization (attached again to this message) If you haven’t already, please get these forms to us NOW. In addition to these forms, please go in to your on-line application and quickly finish any of the on-line forms that you haven’t completed. Most of you have done most or all of them, but check to make sure. You have until 4:00 PM tomorrow to complete your application. This includes the on-line and additional forms listed above. By the end of the day tomorrow you will be notified officially of your acceptance or denial in the program. If you are accepted, you will have until 12:00 noon, Monday, January 20, to change your status to “committed.” This final step will secure your spot on the trip, and authorize us to charge your student account the $500 non-refundable administration fee. I hope this is clear. Please complete the four steps I’ve outlined above… 1. Complete any on-line forms that need to be finished. 2. Complete and turn in any of the four additional forms listed above still lacking. 3. Check your status for acceptance in the program at the end of tomorrow (1/17). 4. If accepted, change your status to “Committed” by noon, Monday (1/20). Please act quickly to secure your place on the trip. I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing this adventure in March!
