Attention Buncombe County, NC Democrats! Since Im a registered Republican, I cant help you in your May primary election. But, you need to go vote for Ron Moore and re-elect him as our District Attorney. Is he perfect? No. Has he done everything perfectly? No. But, he is far better than his opponent. In todays paper (Asheville-Citizen - go get a copy) was a huge article talking about the contrasts between the two. For example, Ron kicked off his campaign in a hotel meeting room. His opponent chose a brewery! What I could gather from the article, Ron is a Democrat that would be considered a conservative, but his opponent paints a very liberal picture. If we are going to turn this country around, to where we have individual and states rights freedoms...less socialism...smaller government intervention in our personal lives...we MUST start at the grass roots level and elect conservatives...Democrat or Republican..even though a county DA could do little to shape national policy...its a place to start the snow ball rolling!
