Attention, Louisiana residents: Its that time of year again! DHH is urging residents ages 6 months and older to get their flu vaccinations! Starting this week, according to a DHH press release issued today, parish health units around the state began offering the vaccines. If youd like to get your shot, take proof of insurance, Medicare or Medicaid to your local parish health unit. Those without insurance will be charged $10. And remember, supplies are limited, so call first or make an appointment!
