Attention MARC Customers Wednesdays MARC Service at Perryville - TopicsExpress

Attention MARC Customers Wednesdays MARC Service at Perryville and Aberdeen MARC Train service remains suspended at Perryville and Aberdeen stations due to downed wires and utility poles along the railroad--repairs at the damage site continue. All MARC trains that usually start at Perryville will originate at Edgewood station on Wednesday morning. Alternate bus transportation will be provided from Perryville and Aberdeen to Edgewood. The buses will depart 20-30 minutes earlier than the scheduled train departures. Please note that there will not be buses for Train 505 (4:40am departure from Perryville). In addition, Amtrak has notified MARC that a decision regarding the operation of Amtrak trains 151 and 181 (which honor MARC weekly and monthly passes) has not been made as of 8:00pm Tuesday night. We will update the status of these trains when MARC is notified by Amtrak. (11:00pm Update--A decision about Amtrak 151 & 181 has still not been made, check back in the morning.) Bus capacity is limited. Passengers who are able are encouraged to drive to Edgewood, Martin Airport, or another MARC station. Further information on service Wednesday evening will be posted Wednesday afternoon. If train service is not available, there will be alternate transportation provided.
