The trees alone that will be cut will mean owners of these mines dont need foreign capital to operate considering the lumber that will be harvested from these forests which is probably worth more than any value of the mines perhaps trillions of dollars or more. Fourteen thousand five hundred hectares of land ! Who are the owners and why did DENR allow this when mining laws prohibit mining in mossy forests? Were the issuance of these permits above par? Who in government can stop this? Hope those in government were not offered ownership or stock options. We will see who acts and who wont then we will know why. Congressman and Mrs. Pacquiao, we expect you to lead the way. We know you have flown over these mountains and you know exactly the forest that will be sacrificed. This is a case of plunder!
