Attention Suffolk County residents. ..after years of leadership, I am delighted to announce that the Capital Budget Working Group is meeting IN PUBLIC this year. I am hopeful that this begins a new era of transparency and inclusion in all the Countys budget processes which will necessarily lead to more informed decision-making and more accountability for decision-makers. I must thank Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory for having the courage to make this possible.
