Attention World........Todays Veterans are getting younger & younger & just because they dont look old & crippled doesnt mean that they do not have disabilities!!!!! Today I pull into Walmart & I see another lady looking at the handicapped parking...there was 2 spots so I took one and she took one. I got out and rushed into the store as she yells, Nice handicapped sticker! I politely yelled back, I am a Disabled Veteran, look at my license plate! So she did & yells, Sorry! I go in to grab a few things & I call my husband to tell him about this rude lady lol Well as I walk to the register, the lady is with the police pointing at me! At that moment I felt my blood start to boil! The lady leaves and I state that its ok for her to start drama and leave and I dont get her info......how convenient! I tell the officer that I am a Disabled Veteran and she smugly replies, So am I and I dont park in handicapped....WOW!! REALLY!! Since you are an officer, I assume you pasted a physical fitness test that I can not pass since I have metal in my back, as well as other injuries that are not visible to the naked eye. As we walk outside, she says that handicapped parking is for people who cant walk......seems pretty funny that the lady that cowardly called the police and left was walking just as well as me but all the fuss is about me??!! Did I mention that she also told the officer that I left my kids in the car.....yep sure did......a 12 yr old & 2 13 yr olds........this is ridiculous.......REALLY!!! BUT..............I guess I must of been looking Easy Breezy Covergirl and when she saw me get out of the car with my long beautiful hair flowing in the wind, my coke bottle figure and my confident smile I am sure she never imagined in her wildness dream that I am a 41 yr old Disabled Army Veteran who proudly served my Country as well as support my Husband as he served 4 tours in the war!! She probably thought I was some young person in their grandmas van!! PLEASE DONT EVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!!!! And to that pitiful women who is so miserable that you have nothing better to do than waste the polices time by calling them about a dumb parking spot, maybe next time you should think about what you are doing!! I served this Country to keep you safe and that is the thanks I get!! SMH!!!! Be Blessed FB Fam!!!!
